Jennifer Lentz is a 2002 graduate from Temple University. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree
in Dance with a dual degree in Business Administration and a minor in Health Studies.
Jennifer also received her certification in Vaganova Ballet Technique (Levels 1-3) from
John White at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet Society workshop. During her time at Temple she
was an active participant in the dance department performing and choreographing in shows regularly.
Jennifer was also co-captain of the dance team and had the privilege of traveling and performing in
stadiums throughout the east coast. Upon graduation, Jennifer co-founded Eclipse Dance Company;
a concert dance company focused in modern jazz technique which performed in and around the Philadelphia region.
In 2008, after the birth of her eldest son, Jennifer turned her focus to dance education and has been mentoring and coaching students of all ages. Her choreography has won awards at numerous regional and national venues including New York City Dance Alliance, NUVO, Turn It Up Dance Challenge, and Starquest Performing Arts Competition. Jennifer's students have gained a reputation for elite ballet training and undeniable versatility, which combined, has allowed students to thrive in the competitive world of dance. Students have received acceptance and large talent scholarships to prestigious collegiate dance programs across the country including The Boston Conservatory, NYU, Point Park University, The University of the Arts and many more. Jennifer was a full-time faculty member, choreographer and competition coach at Wendy's Dance Center for fourteen years. Jennifer is now the owner and artistic director of Contempro Dance Theatre (formerly known as Wendy's Dance Center). Jennifer is dedicated to inspiring and enriching her students lives through the art of dance.
