Danielle Gumbert received her Bachelor of Arts from Muhlenberg College in Dance under the direction of Karen Dearborn. With Muhlenberg College, Danielle performed in American College Dance Festival’s Gala in 2013 and 2015.
She has worked with choreographers such as Trinette Singleton of the Joffery Ballet, Deborah Wingert of New York City Ballet,
Germaul Barnes of Bill T. Jones Dance Company, Heidi Cruz-Austin and Meredith Rainey of the Pennsylvania Ballet,
Juan Carlos Penuela of Ballet Hispanico, Susan Creitz of Nikolai Dance Theatre as well as Jessica Lang, Earl Mosley,
Charlotte Boye-Christensen, Dorrell Martin, Sammy Reyes, Beau Handcock, Jeffery Peterson, Corrie Cowart, Megan Flynn,
and Teresa VanDenend Sorge.
Danielle is an alumni of Wendy’s Dance Center, taking her first dance class at the age of three. With WDC, Danielle received various regional titles such as Top Junior Soloist (Star Systems), Teen Miss Starquest and Miss Starquest in 2010. Danielle also placed First Runner Up Junior Soloist DanceXplosion Nationals in 2005 and Third Runner up Senior Soloist at Starquest Nationals. Danielle spent her summers training at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet under the direction of John White and Margarita De Saa. Danielle is excited to share her knowledge with the students of Contempro Dance Theatre.
